As someone who wasn’t always used to making their voice heard, I want to advocate for those who had great concerns, but sometimes didn’t feel comfortable enough to share them. What’s so great about our community is that we have so many diverse voices, which are meant to be heard and listened to. De Anza also has a plethora of resources that haven’t been taken advantage of simply because students aren’t informed about them. If given the chance, I can act as the bridge to make your input come to fruition, thus building a more inclusive, tighter-knit community.
